What is brooding?
This is when ducks brood their eggs/ducklings. By “brood” I mean: Ducks sitting on their eggs and/or shielding (covering) their ducklings.
What is a brooder?
The place where ducks and ducklings are kept and nested.

These are first foods given to ducklings to help in growth
What are grits?
These are small loose particles of stone or sand given to ducks to help in their digestion (which occurs in their crop)
